Smell: Vanilla

Ease of use:  This cream had a thick consistency, spread easily, sank into the hair and left my dry hair, soft.  I placed an inch of product on my finger and used that amount per braid. I was heavy handed on a few braids; it just coated more, but not too much.

Slip:  This really didn’t have slip consistency, but it did glide down the hair and coated each strand.

Moisture capacity: The Curly Pudding was great for keeping the moisture in as a part of well-balanced hair maintenance routine. A leave-in conditioner underneath the Curly Pudding really punched it up.

Versatility:  I can’t see myself using this for a wash-and-go style in the warmer months because it was too thick for my taste.   For those with finer hair textures or looser curl patterns, you need a minimal amount to get the maximum effect. I prefer thinner creams for wash-and-go styles and thicker creams for twists/braids.

Final Verdict:  I have to say, I was impressed because I can never get a braid-out to look right. With Define Curly Pudding I just have to tweak where I place my braids in order for my hair to lay right when I take the braids down.  My hair was defined, lightweight and moved when I turned my head. For my hair, that was a big deal! It does not grow down, but up.
