Consistency: Creamy, with a little weight to it.
Smell: Light Chocolate, “Vanilla-ish”
Ease of use: This conditioner was so easy to add to my damp hair. It was very concentrated, so I only needed a small amount.
Slip: The slip of the conditioner was very nice for finger detangling. I didn’t have to use a lot per section.
Moisture capacity: My hair felt like it was drinking a nice rich cup of cream! The product absorbed easily and sank into my strands. I could feel the conditioning effect immediately. The website does state that it is best with heat, but I didn’t feel the need to do so, though I can’t wait to try this with my steamer.
Versatility: Even though Shea butter is the third ingredient in this conditioner, I feel you could get away with using this as a leave-in conditioner or a light styler. It wasn’t heavy or light; it had just the right amount of moisture. I can see using this as a midweek moisture booster for a cowash as well!
Final Verdict: This seems to work well with the rest of the line. The only downside to me is the bottle. I have to turn it upside and shake it a little to move the product down.
Grading:
